Los Angeles: Hollywood star Gerard Butler will once again work with director Rick Roman Waugh in the action-packed thriller "Kandahar". He has previously worked with Rick Roman in the successful films Greenland and Angel's Fallen.
According to sources, director Rick Roman has written the screenplay of the film Kandahar with former US intelligence officer Mitchell La Fortune. The film will show US activities in Afghanistan against the backdrop of WikiLeaks. AK belongs to the secret operative Tom Harris, who is stationed in the Middle East, but gets into trouble with his translator when he comes to Kandahar on a mission.
Most of the film will be shot in the Middle East.
